Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

In short

Last Torch isn't out yet. The game asks for no account and we don't collect your personal information: your progress stays on your device. The version that exists today has no real ads, no real purchases and no analytics. This website has no cookies. Before the game adds ads, purchases or any other service that collects data, this page will say which ones and what they collect.

Who we are

Last Torch is made by an independent developer in Spain. You can write to us at [email protected].

What the game stores

Your character, your progress, your settings and your place on the map are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us, and deleting the app deletes them.

Ads and purchases

Today the game's shop and its videos are stand-ins: they don't contact any store or ad service, take no money and collect nothing.

When the game comes out, it is planned to offer videos you can choose to watch, an occasional short ad and in-app purchases. Purchases will be made through Apple's App Store and Google Play, under their own privacy policies, and we will receive no payment information from them. Before that version reaches players, this policy will be updated with the ad services it uses, what they collect and the choices you will have.

Children

We don't collect personal information from anyone, children included. Parents and guardians can write to us with any question about their children's privacy.

The demo on this website

The demo runs entirely in your browser. It saves nothing and sends nothing to us.

This website

lasttorchgame.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies: the pictures, sounds and fonts are served from here. It only remembers the language you pick, in your browser's storage on your device. Our hosting provider (DigitalOcean) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Your rights

You can ask us any question about your privacy and, under the GDPR and similar laws, exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability by writing to [email protected]. We hold no information that identifies you; if you write to us, we use your address and your message only to answer you. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version here with its date.
